Zeynep Sever was born in Istanbul, Turkey. She later became a citizen of Belgium as well. On September 21, 2010, Zeynep married Volkan Demirel. He is a famous goalkeeper for the Fenerbahçe S.K. football team. Zeynep and Volkan have two daughters together.

Besides her beauty pageant success, Zeynep is also a skilled volleyball player. She played for the Fenerbahçe Women's Volleyball team. This shows her dedication to sports.
