Zheng Geping (born Edmund Tay Kok Peng on 27 May 1964) is a famous actor, producer, and businessman from Singapore. He used to be known as Zheng Guoping. He has starred in many TV shows on MediaCorp Channel 8. He stopped working full-time for MediaCorp in 2023.

Acting Career
Zheng Geping used to be a chef and a Taekwondo teacher. In 1987, he became a full-time actor after finishing a special training course. At first, he mostly played smaller, supporting roles.
His hard work paid off at the Star Awards 2007. This is a big awards show for TV in Singapore. He won the Best Actor award for his role in the TV show Like Father, Like Daughter. After winning this award, Zheng Geping became very popular.
From 2009 to 2013, he won the Top 10 Most Popular Male Artistes award every year. This award is given to the most liked male stars. In 2013, Zheng Geping also became a brand ambassador for a hair company. This means he helped promote their products. In August 2013, he released a health and fitness book called Star Fitness.
On 1 February 2023, Zheng Geping decided to leave MediaCorp. He no longer works for them as a full-time actor.
Personal Life
Zheng Geping is married to another MediaCorp star, Hong Huifang. They have two children, a daughter named Tay Ying and a son named Calvert Tay. Both of their children have also started working in the entertainment industry in Singapore.
