Zoriana Stepanivna Skaletska (Ukrainian: Зоряна Степанівна Скалецька, née Chernenko (Черненко); born 9 August 1980) is a Ukrainian lawyer, activist, and politician. She is well-known for serving as the Minister of Healthcare of Ukraine.

About Zoriana Skaletska
Zoriana Skaletska was born on August 9, 1980, in Lviv, which was then part of the Soviet Union. She grew up to become a lawyer and later a politician in Ukraine.
Her Education and Early Career
Ms. Skaletska studied law at two different universities. She graduated from the National University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy in 2002. She also continued her studies at the Maria Curie-Skłodowska University from 2002 to 2006. She earned a special degree called a Doctor of Law.
After her studies, Ms. Skaletska taught law at the National University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy. She also worked as an expert for different organizations. One of these was the "Reanimation Reform Package" organization. This group helps make important changes and improvements in Ukraine. She was also an expert for the Center for Support of Reforms, which works with the Cabinet of Ministers.
Ms. Skaletska is also the director of a public organization called "Health Forum." She is a member of the World Association of Medical Law, a group that focuses on laws related to medicine around the world.
Becoming Minister of Healthcare
On August 29, 2019, Zoriana Skaletska was chosen to be the Minister of Healthcare of Ukraine. This meant she was in charge of the country's health system. She served in the government led by Prime Minister Oleksiy Honcharuk.
Her time as Minister of Healthcare ended on March 4, 2020. At that time, a new government was formed, and Illia Yemets took over her role as Minister of Healthcare.
Later Political Activities
After her time as Minister of Healthcare, Ms. Skaletska continued to be involved in politics. She was a candidate for the Kyiv City Council in the 2020 Kyiv local election. She ran as part of the Servant of the People party.
