Zorn is a small place in Texas, United States. It is known as an "unincorporated community." This means it doesn't have its own local government like a city or town. Zorn is located in the northern part of Guadalupe County. You can find it along Texas State Highway 123. It is about 13 miles north of the town of Seguin.
A Look Back at Zorn's History
The community of Zorn was named after a man called Joseph Zorn. He was a storekeeper in the area. Joseph Zorn was also an important person in the nearby town of Seguin. He served as the mayor of Seguin for many years. His time as mayor was from 1890 to 1910.
In the late 1800s, Zorn was a bit bigger than it is today. About 150 people lived there at that time. The community also had two grist mills. A grist mill is a place where grain is ground into flour. By the year 2000, the population of Zorn was around 60 people.
