History of Zulu, Indiana
Zulu got its interesting name in a unique way. The people who founded the community chose the name at random from an encyclopedia. They picked the word "Zulu" without any special connection to the Zulu people or their culture.
Zulu's Post Office
A post office was opened in Zulu in the year 1880. This was an important place for people to send and receive letters and packages. The post office served the community for many years before it closed down in 1904.
