Zvečevo is a company from Croatia that makes delicious sweets and some special drinks. It started way back in 1921 in a city called Požega.
The company was first known as Stock Cognac Medicinal. For a while, from 1936 to 1946, it worked closely with a big company called Nestlé. During this time, Zvečevo also began making yummy chocolate and candy.
In 1951, the company changed its name to Zvečevo d.d. Požega. By the 1960s, Zvečevo decided to focus mainly on making chocolate products and milk powder. They stopped making things like fruit juices and flour to put all their energy into their sweet treats.
Zvečevo worked with Nestlé again from 1970 until 1995. After that, Zvečevo became its own independent company. A cool fact is that in 1964, Zvečevo created the world's first rice chocolate! They called this special chocolate bar Mikado.
