Òdena is a town and municipality in the Anoia region of Barcelona province, Catalonia, Spain. It is located in the center of the Òdena Basin, on the side of a small hill. The remains of Òdena castle, with its unique eight-sided tower, stand at the top of this hill. The town is connected by the C-241 road, which goes from Igualada to Manresa. The main N-II road, connecting Barcelona to Lleida, also passes through the municipality.

Òdena is a charming municipality in the heart of Catalonia. Its history is visible in the ancient castle ruins that overlook the town. The people who live here are called Odenencs (for males) or Odenencas (for females).
The Igualada-Òdena Aerodrome
The Igualada-Òdena Aerodrome is like a small airport located south of Òdena. This aerodrome is famous for hosting the Aerosport airshow every year in April or May. It's a great event where you can see different types of aircraft. In 2009, the Catalan government decided to make it a special airfield for business use. The runway, which is currently 900 meters long, will be made longer to 1500 meters. New hangars, which are buildings for storing aircraft, will also be built for both sports and business planes.

The population of Òdena has grown quite a bit over the years. In 1900, there were about 1,239 people living here. By 2018, the population had increased to 3,608 people. This shows that more and more people are choosing to live in Òdena.
