About Øyvind Torseter
Øyvind Torseter studied illustration at different art and design schools. He attended Merkantilt Institutt in Oslo from 1991 to 1992. Then he went to Skolen for Grafisk Design in Oslo from 1992 to 1994. Finally, he studied at the Kent Institute of Art and Design in Maidstone from 1995 to 1998.
He has illustrated many picture books, and he even wrote some of them himself! One of his famous books is Klikk (2004), which won an award.
Torseter uses both traditional art methods and digital techniques in his work. He also likes to try new things, like creating cool graphic effects and three-dimensional paper art. The pictures in his books are not just simple drawings. They often tell their own stories and have lots of fun details for you to discover. Øyvind Torseter is known as one of Norway's best illustrators and artists.
Today, Øyvind Torseter lives and works in Oslo, Norway.
