The Îles Laval are a group of islands located in the Rivière des Prairies in southwestern Quebec, Canada. They are part of a larger group of islands called the Hochelaga Archipelago.

For a while, the Îles Laval were their own small town, known as Les Îles-Laval. But on August 6, 1965, they officially joined the larger city of Laval.

Where are the Îles Laval?

These islands are found northeast of Île Bizard. They sit right between the Island of Montreal and Île Jésus, which is also known as Laval Island.

The Îles Laval group includes several smaller islands. The main ones are Île Bigras, Île Pariseau, Île Verte, and Île Ronde.

How to Get Around the Îles Laval

The islands have a train station called the Île-Bigras REM station. This train line goes right through the islands, making it easy to travel.

There is also a road bridge that connects the islands to the Sainte-Dorothée area of Laval. Sainte-Dorothée is located on Île Jésus.

If you need to get around the islands themselves, there's a special shared taxi service. It's called T26.
