Óscar Jaenada Gajo (born 4 May 1975) is a Spanish actor. He is known for playing real-life famous people in movies. For example, he played Camarón de la Isla, a flamenco singer, in the film Camarón: When Flamenco Became Legend (2005). He also played Cantinflas, a famous Mexican comedian, in the movie Cantinflas (2014).

Early Life and Acting Start
Óscar Jaenada was born on May 4, 1975, in Esplugues de Llobregat, a town in Spain. He started acting when he was thirteen years old. His first roles were in plays by William Shakespeare.
Becoming a Professional Actor
To find more acting jobs, Óscar moved to Madrid, the capital of Spain. He got several roles on television shows like 7 vidas and Hospital Central. After that, he started working in movies. Some of his first movie roles were in Lisístrata (2002) and Descongélate (2003).
Soon, director Achero Mañas gave him a main role in the film November (2003). For this role, Óscar was nominated for a Goya Award in 2004. The Goya Awards are very important film awards in Spain.
Breakthrough Roles
Óscar Jaenada became very well-known for playing the flamenco singer Camarón de la Isla in the movie Camarón (2005). This film was shown for the first time at the San Sebastián International Film Festival. For his performance, Óscar won the Goya Award for Best Actor in 2006. He also won other important awards like the Silver Frames prize.
In 2011, Óscar got a role in a big Hollywood movie, Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides. He played "the Spaniard," who was a trusted agent for King Ferdinand. He also acted in a Spanish TV series about pirates called Piratas.
Later, in 2014, he played the famous Mexican comedian Cantinflas in the movie Cantinflas. This role earned him more awards, including the Platino Awards and the Ariel Award for Best Actor in 2015.
