111 Huntington Avenue is a tall building, also known as a skyscraper, located in Boston, Massachusetts. It's part of the Prudential Center complex, which also includes the famous Prudential Tower. This building was finished in 2002.
It stands 554 feet (169 meters) tall and has 36 floors. This makes it the tenth-tallest building in Boston. In 2002, it even won a bronze Emporis Skyscraper Award for its design. Some people jokingly call it The R2-D2 Building because its top looks a bit like the robot from Star Wars!
Building Design and Look

This 36-story skyscraper has a special open-frame dome and crown at its very top. This crown lights up at night, making it easy to spot!
The building's first plan was to have a flat roof. But the mayor of Boston at the time, Thomas Menino, didn't like that idea. So, the builders offered other designs, and the mayor picked the one you see today.
Modern Style and Materials
The outside of the building has a modern look. It uses a blue glass curtain wall, which is a non-structural outer covering that keeps the weather out. This design was created by the architect company Childs Bertman Tseckares Inc. (CBT).
Inside, the main entrance area, called the lobby, is very shiny. It has black marble walls that reflect light. There's also nice wood paneling and a cool waterfall feature. You can get into the lobby from the shops at the Prudential Center mall.
The building was also built with features that help save energy. The company that built it was John Moriarty & Associates, Inc.
