The arena is close to the Rocky Mountain Metropolitan Airport and the Flatiron Crossing Mall. Since 2010, its name comes from 1stBank, a local bank. The 1stBank Center is often used for concerts and can hold up to 6,500 people.
From 2010 to 2014, it was home to the Colorado Music Hall of Fame. For sports, it's currently where the Denver Roller Dolls play. It also used to be home to the Rocky Mountain Rage and Colorado 14ers sports teams.

History of the 1stBank Center
Planning and Building the Arena
The city of Broomfield first shared plans for this new sports building in May 2005. The idea was to create a major attraction for a new area called Arista Metropolitan District. This new arena would compete with other mid-sized venues in Colorado. These included places like Magness Arena and the Bellco Theatre.
The goal was to make the arena feel cozy like a theater, even though it was big. This design would help it stand out from other large venues.
Early Challenges and Changes
Building the arena started in October 2006, but it faced some problems early on. There was a lawsuit about noise, and the management team changed before it even opened. Despite these issues, the arena opened on November 9, 2006. The first event was a concert by the singer Bonnie Raitt.
However, the arena struggled to attract enough visitors. People complained about not enough parking and confusing road signs. Some also said the sound quality inside was not good. For its first two years, the arena did not make a profit. It had trouble paying its bills and staff.
New Management and Renovations
By 2009, the original management company could no longer afford to run the arena. The Broomfield Urban Renewal Authority (BURA) began looking for a new company. Several big companies, like AEG Live and SMG, showed interest.
In June 2009, a new company called Peak Entertainment took over. This company was a partnership between Kroenke Sports Enterprises and AEG Live Rocky Mountains. They signed a 28-year agreement to manage the arena.
Under the new management, the arena got a big makeover. Over one million dollars were spent on improvements. This included new paint, better lighting, and improved sound. They also added more than 2,000 parking spaces. A special bridge was built to connect people to public transport.
During these renovations, the arena had a temporary name: Odeum Colorado.
Renaming to 1stBank Center
In February 2010, it was announced that 1stBank, a local financial company, bought the naming rights. This meant the arena would be called the 1stBank Center. The agreement started on March 1, 2010.
The arena officially reopened on March 5, 2010. The band Furthur played the first concert under the new name. Since then, the 1stBank Center has hosted many famous artists, family shows, and sports events.
