The 2014 season was the third year for the American Ultimate Disc League (AUDL). This is a professional league for Ultimate Disc. Each team played 14 games during the season. The San Jose Spiders had an amazing year. They won the AUDL Championship III. They beat the Toronto Rush in the final game. The championship took place in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The Spiders had the best record of all teams. They won 16 games and only lost one! Their only loss was to the San Francisco FlameThrowers.

What Happened Before the Season?
New Teams Joined the League
Before the 2014 season, several new teams became part of the AUDL. This made the league bigger and more exciting.
- The Montreal Royal joined.
- The San Jose Spiders joined.
- The Seattle Raptors joined.
- The Salt Lake Lions joined.
- The San Francisco FlameThrowers joined.
- The Vancouver Riptide joined.
Team Name Changes
One team changed its name for the new season.
- The Windy City Wildfire became the Chicago Wildfire.
Teams That Left
Sometimes teams have to stop playing.
- The New Jersey Hammerheads stopped playing. This was because of money problems.
How Did Teams Rank in the Regular Season?
The regular season standings show how well each team did. Teams are grouped into divisions. The letters mean:
- T means the team was the top seed for the playoffs.
- P means the team made it to the playoffs.
- W means Wins (how many games they won).
- L means Losses (how many games they lost).
- PD or GD means Point Difference. This is how many more points they scored than their opponents.
- PCT means Percentage. This shows their winning rate.
