A general election took place in Uganda on January 14, 2021. During this election, people voted for their next President and members of the Parliament. The current President, Yoweri Museveni, won the election. He has been the leader of Uganda since 1986. This election marked his sixth time being chosen as president. He received 58.64% of all the votes. About 57% of people who could vote actually did.
