5 Star is a delicious chocolate bar made by Cadbury. It is sold in many countries around the world. These include India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Brazil, South Africa, the Philippines, and Egypt. This chocolate bar is known for its yummy mix of soft caramel and chewy nougat. All of this is covered in smooth milk chocolate. You can easily spot a 5 Star bar because it comes in a shiny golden wrapper decorated with stars.

How 5 Star Started

The 5 Star chocolate bar first came out in India in 1969. It quickly became a popular treat there. Later, in 2016, 5 Star was launched in Malaysia and the Philippines. In these countries, it was sold in different sizes. You could find small 'mini-bars', regular-sized bars, and even bigger packs to share with friends.

In the same year, 2016, 5 Star also arrived in Brazil. However, in Brazil, it was sold under a different brand name called Lacta. Lacta is another chocolate brand that is part of the same company as Cadbury. Since 2017, 5 Star has also been widely available in South Africa. It took the place of another chocolate bar called Tempo, which was no longer being made.

Different Flavors

In India, where 5 Star first began, you can find it in several exciting flavors. These special kinds include Oreo, Chomp, Fruit & Nut, and Crunchy. Each flavor offers a unique twist to the classic 5 Star chocolate bar.
