Faisal A.J. Saudin (born May 14, 1992), known as A.J. Saudin or Saudin, is a Canadian actor, singer, songwriter, and music producer. He is famous for playing Connor DeLaurier in the TV show Degrassi: The Next Generation.

Acting Career
Early Roles and TV Shows
Before becoming well-known on Degrassi, A.J. Saudin started acting as a child. He appeared in print ads and TV commercials. His first movie role was at age seven. He acted alongside Natalie Cole in the film Livin' for Love: The Natalie Cole Story in 2000.
He also had supporting roles in other TV series. One of these was Da Kink in My Hair from 2007 to 2009. A.J. also hosted several episodes of Open Your Ears. This was a music show on Canada's YTV channel.
Starring in Aruba
Saudin got his first main role in the 2006 film Aruba. This movie was directed by Hubert Davis. Hubert Davis is a director who has been nominated for an Oscar.
Aruba was first shown at the Sundance Film Festival in January 2006. It then played at many other film festivals. These included the 2006 Toronto International Film Festival and the 2006 Palm Springs International ShortFest.
Degrassi and Beyond
A.J. Saudin starred in the popular Canadian TV series Degrassi: The Next Generation for seven years. From 2008 to 2015, he played Connor DeLaurier. Connor was a teenager with Asperger syndrome, which is a type of autism.
Saudin left the show in 2015 to focus on his music. In 2018, he appeared in a music video for the song I'm Upset by the artist Drake. Many past Degrassi cast members were also in this music video.
Music Career
Starting His Music Journey
After leaving Degrassi: The Next Generation in 2015, A.J. Saudin began his music career. He released his first song, "Sunset," in October 2016. He shared on Twitter that he had stopped acting to work on music full-time.
Releasing EPs
Saudin released his first EP (Extended Play) called "Before I Met You" on April 21, 2017. This EP featured other artists like YeAli and Night Lovell.
On August 25, 2017, he released his second EP. It was titled "A Midsummer's Daydream". This project had four songs. A.J. Saudin, Emjay, and dF were the main producers for this EP.
Live Performances
On September 1, 2017, A.J. Saudin performed live for the first time. He played at the famous Mod Club Theatre in Toronto, Ontario. The show was completely sold out.
