AIK Men's Bandy Team
The men's bandy team at AIK started playing in 1905. They quickly became very good!
In the early days of Swedish bandy, AIK was a top team. In the 1930-31 season, which was the first year Sweden had a proper bandy league, AIK played in Division 1 Norra. They finished first in their group! AIK then won the championship final against IF Göta with a score of 4–3. This made them Swedish Champions!
AIK used to play at Spånga Idrottspark. Since 2007, they play at Bergshamra IP. Even though they haven't been as successful in bandy lately as they are in ice hockey and football, they are still a strong team. They even got promoted to Elitserien, the top league, for the 2019-20 season.
