Aaron Green (born October 15, 1992) is a former professional American football player. He played as a running back, which is a player who primarily runs with the football. Aaron Green joined the Los Angeles Rams in 2016 and also played college football at TCU.

Aaron Green's Early Football Journey
Aaron Green went to James Madison High School in San Antonio, Texas. He was a talented football player and earned a scholarship to play at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln. After his first year there, he decided to transfer to TCU.
Playing at TCU
When a player transfers colleges, they usually have to sit out one season. This is part of the NCAA transfer rules. So, Aaron Green did not play in the 2012 season.
He became a starting player in his junior year. That season, he was the team's top rusher, running for 922 yards. He also scored 9 touchdowns, which are points earned by carrying the ball into the end zone. In his senior year, he played in 13 games and started 10 of them. He finished that season with 1,272 rushing yards, which was one of the best in TCU's history.
Aaron Green's Professional Football Career
After college, Aaron Green hoped to join a professional team. Players who are not chosen in the main draft can still be signed as "undrafted free agents."

Time with the Los Angeles Rams
In 2016, Aaron Green was signed by the Los Angeles Rams as an undrafted free agent. This happened after the 2016 NFL draft. He was released by the Rams before the regular season started. However, he was quickly signed to their practice squad. A practice squad is a group of players who train with the team but are not on the main roster. He was later moved to the active roster in December 2016. The Rams released him again in September 2017.
Playing for the Dallas Cowboys
In November 2017, Aaron Green joined the Dallas Cowboys' practice squad. He trained with the team but was released a few weeks later in December.
Joining the Buffalo Bills
In January 2018, Green was signed to the Buffalo Bills' practice squad. He then signed a "reserve/future" contract with the Bills. This type of contract means a player is signed for the next season. However, he was later released by the Bills in May 2018 due to an injury.
San Antonio Commanders and Beyond
In August 2018, Aaron Green signed with the San Antonio Commanders. This team was part of a new league called the Alliance of American Football. He played as a backup running back for the Commanders.
