Abdeljalil Hadda, often called Kamatcho, is a famous Moroccan football player. He was born on March 23, 1972. He played as a striker, which means he was a player whose main job was to score goals. After a great career, he retired from playing football.

Kamatcho's Club Football Journey

Abdeljalil Hadda was born in Meknes, a city in Morocco. He started his football career playing for a local team called CODM.

Playing in Different Countries

In 1996, Kamatcho moved to Saudi Arabia to play for a team called Ittihad. After that, he played for a short time in Tunisia.

He then moved to Spain and joined Real Sporting de Gijón. While in Spain, he also had a loan spell with Yokohama F. Marinos in Japan. A loan spell means he played for a different team for a short time before returning to his main club.

Returning Home

In 2001, Kamatcho left Real Sporting and went back to Club Africain in Tunisia for another season. Later, he returned to his home country, Morocco. He played for a couple more years before retiring from football in 2004, when he was 32 years old.

Abdeljalil Hadda also played for his country, the Morocco national team. He played in 41 matches for Morocco and scored 19 goals.

Playing in the World Cup

One of the biggest highlights of his career was playing in the 1998 FIFA World Cup. This is a huge international football tournament. Kamatcho scored two goals in three games during the World Cup. Even though Morocco played well, they did not make it past the group stage of the tournament.
