Abu Hider Rony (Bengali: আবু হায়দার রনি), born on February 14, 1996, is a talented cricketer from Bangladesh. He is known for his left-arm fast-medium bowling style. Abu Hider started playing for the Bangladesh national cricket team in January 2016.
Playing for Teams
Domestic Cricket Success
Abu Hider has played for several teams in Bangladesh's domestic cricket leagues. One of his big achievements was playing for Gazi Group Cricketers. In the 2016-17 season, he was amazing! He took the most wickets in the league, getting 35 wickets in 16 matches. His team, Gazi Group Cricketers, also won the championship that season.
Later, in October 2018, he joined the Comilla Victorians team for the 2018–19 Bangladesh Premier League. In November 2019, he was also chosen to play for the Cumilla Warriors in the 2019–20 Bangladesh Premier League.

International Debuts
Abu Hider made his first international appearance for Bangladesh in a Twenty20 International (T20I) match. This was against the Zimbabwe cricket team on January 20, 2016.
In August 2018, he was picked for a special training squad for Bangladesh. This was before the 2018 Asia Cup, a big cricket tournament. He then made his One Day International (ODI) debut against the Afghanistan team on September 20, 2018. In November 2019, he was also part of Bangladesh's team for the 2019 ACC Emerging Teams Asia Cup.
