Abu Hider Rony (born on February 14, 1996) is a talented cricketer from Bangladesh. He is known for his left-arm fast-medium bowling. He started playing for the Bangladesh national team in January 2016.

Playing in Domestic Leagues

Abu Hider Rony has played for several teams in Bangladesh's top cricket leagues. He has shown his skills as a bowler in many matches.

Dhaka Premier Division League

Rony has been a key player in the Dhaka Premier Division Cricket League.

  • In the 2016-17 season, he played for Gazi Group Cricketers. He took the most wickets in the league, with 35 wickets in 16 matches. His team also won the championship that season.
  • He stayed with Gazi Group Cricketers for the 2017-18 season. He took 17 wickets in 9 games.
  • In the 2019 season, he again played for Gazi Group Cricketers. He took 7 wickets in 8 matches.
  • For the 2020 season, he joined Mohammedan Sporting Club cricket team. He played only one match before the tournament was stopped due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
