The Mohammed VI International Academy of Civil Aviation (often called AIMAC) is a special university in Morocco. It was started in 2000 by King Mohammed VI of Morocco. This academy trains young people to become experts in aviation.

They learn to be air traffic controllers, who guide planes safely. They also train aerospace engineers, who design and build aircraft. Another group they train are air traffic safety electronics personnel, who make sure all the airport's electronic systems work perfectly.

AIMAC works closely with the Moroccan Airports Authority. It also follows advice from the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO). This makes sure its training is top-notch and recognized worldwide.

Working with Other Aviation Schools

AIMAC is known around the world. The ICAO has even said it's the best French-speaking training center in their "Trainair" network. This means AIMAC helps train aviation professionals using ICAO's high standards.

One important partner is the École nationale de l'aviation civile (ENAC) from Toulouse, France. They work together on courses, especially for how planes navigate in the sky.

In 2011, AIMAC, ENAC, and École des Ponts ParisTech teamed up. They created a special business course for aviation leaders. This course, called an executive aviation MBA, started in Casablanca in 2012.

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) from the United States is also a partner. They work with AIMAC to create online learning courses. These courses help more people learn about aviation from anywhere.

AIMAC was also chosen by Concordia University to open a regional center in Casablanca. This center offers special business courses for people working in aviation.

Other important partners include Eurocontrol, which manages air traffic in Europe, and Aéroport de Paris, which runs airports in Paris. These partnerships help AIMAC offer the best training.
