Accokeek Creek starts near Moores Corner, Virginia. It begins on a high area that separates it from Aquia Creek. The creek then flows towards the southeast. Finally, it joins Potomac Creek at a spot called Crows Nest Point. This is just before Potomac Creek reaches the Potomac River.
