Adam Chen (born on June 24, 1976) is a well-known actor, host, and businessman from Singapore. He has been active in the entertainment industry since 2001.

About Adam Chen
His Early Life
Adam Chen went to The Chinese High School and Hwa Chong Junior College. Later, he studied civil engineering at the National University of Singapore. While he was a student, he also did some modeling. He joined a talent show called Route to Glamour and was offered a contract to become an artist. After he graduated, he officially joined MediaWorks.
Becoming an Actor and Host
Before he started acting, Adam worked as a model. He appeared in many ads for TV and print in Singapore. In 2001, he joined the talent show Route to Glamour on SPH MediaWorks' Channel U. After the show, SPH MediaWorks signed him as an artist.
He continued to work with SPH MediaWorks, extending his contract several times. In 2005, he got a role in Yummy Yummy, a TV series made by Singapore and Hong Kong. He also worked with famous actors like Nicholas Tse and Dicky Cheung in other international TV shows.
When SPH MediaWorks closed in 2005, Adam moved to MediaCorp. He has also acted in English TV shows on MediaCorp Channel 5.
Adam's Business Ventures
Besides acting, Adam Chen is also a successful businessman. In 2002, he started a company with his friends that sold different products.
In 2009, he opened two Japanese burger restaurants called R Burger. These restaurants closed in 2013. He also owns Three Kings Kitchen, which sells duck and chicken rice at three different locations.
In 2013, Adam and his friends invested money to open Park Cafe in Holland Village, Singapore. He also owned a Japanese grilled skewers restaurant called Birders and a rice bowl restaurant called Ebisu Bowls. These food places have since closed down. Later, he opened a Japanese restaurant called Ikki Izakaya at Metropolis of Star Vista.
He also owns a chain of bars called Five, which has four locations. He has a bistro called Golden inside The Projector, an arthouse cinema. In 2023, Adam opened a rooftop café called Sunset on 11 (Soll) on Havelock Road.
Beyond food and drinks, Adam also owns a Japanese watch store called Maker’s Watch Knot in Tiong Bahru.
Personal Life
Adam Chen grew up in the Havelock Road area of Singapore. He still lives in that same neighborhood today.
