Discover Christ Church
Christ Church is one of the oldest churches in Adams Run, SC. It is located very close to the post office. The church group started around 1835. However, this church building was built much later. It was finished in 1887.
The builders used materials from an even older church. That first church was located at a historic spot called Willtown Bluff.
Church Mergers and New Beginnings
In 1962, Christ Church joined with another church. This was St. Paul’s in Meggett. The new combined church was named ChristSt. Paul's Episcopal Church.
Today, this church group is an Anglican parish. They worship in a new building. This new church was completed in 2008. It is located across from the historic St. Paul's church.

Regular Sunday services are not held in the old Adams Run church anymore. But ChristSt. Paul's Church still uses the historic building. They often open it for special events. Christ Church at Adams Run, along with its grounds and graveyard, is cared for by Christ St.Paul's.
