Adele Givens is an American comedian, actress, and writer. She started her career in comedy in the late 1980s. Adele Givens has appeared on many TV shows. These include The Hughleys, Moesha, and The Parkers. She has also been on Def Comedy Jam and The Steve Harvey Show.
Adele Givens' Comedy Journey
Adele Givens won the Grand Prize in the Crown Royal Comedy Contest in 1989. This event took place at the Regal Theater in Chicago. The next year, she was a finalist in the Miller Lite Comedy Search. Another famous comedian, Bernie Mac, won that contest.
