Adnan Khan (born December 24, 1988) is an Indian actor. He acts in Hindi movies and Hindi TV shows, as well as web series. He is famous for playing Mawlawi Kabeer Ahmed in Zee TV's show Ishq Subhan Allah. He also played Viaan Raghuvanshi in Sony Entertainment Television's Katha Ankahee.

Adnan Khan's Early Life

Adnan Khan was born in Dubai, United Arab Emirates on December 24, 1988. He has an older brother named Imran Ali. Adnan went to Our Own English High School in Dubai. He finished his studies at the well-known Manipal University Dubai in 2009. He earned a degree in Business Administration. Before becoming an actor, Khan worked for a short time as a Human Resources Manager in Dubai. He left that job because he always dreamed of acting.

Adnan Khan's Acting Career

While working in Dubai, Adnan Khan wanted to become an actor. He made a short film called 'Bubble' in Dubai. This film was shown at many international film festivals. It even won an award for Best Short Film at the Tunisia Human Rights Film Festival.

After that, he moved to Mumbai from Dubai. He studied acting at "Actor Prepares," a famous acting school started by actor Anupam Kher. Then, Khan acted in many stage plays, short films, and web series. One important web series he was in was First Among Equals, created by Vikram Bhatt.

Rise to Fame in Television

In March 2018, Khan got a big role as Maulwi Kabeer Ahmed in Zee TV's show Ishq Subhan Allah. He received many awards for his acting in this show. This included the Indian Telly Award for Fresh New Face - Male. The show ran for two and a half years. It talked about the important topic of Triple Talaq. In May 2018, Khan appeared on Zee TV's talk show "Juzz Baat" as a guest.

Other Projects and Appearances

In February 2019, Khan was part of an advertisement campaign for Platinum love bands. In January 2021, he did another ad campaign for SNASH Redefining Car Care in Dubai. In March 2021, he appeared in a music video called "Mera Aapki Kripa Se" for T-Series. In May 2021, he started acting in web series with Hai Taubba on Alt Balaji. He played the role of Giri Raj.

In January 2022, Khan played Peter in a short film called The Rage: Over Injustice. This film was shown at the Cannes Film Festival. It was later released on MX Player. In March 2022, he was in a music video called "Mainu Ishq Nahi Karna." In April 2022, Khan appeared on Sahurnya Pesbukers, a TV show in Indonesia.

In September 2022, Khan acted with Rakesh Bedi and Shagun Sharma in another short film. It was called Mera Number Kab Aayega. This film was a unique story set in the year 2030. It showed a future where having children needed government permission. The film was praised for its original idea. It won over 25 awards at different film festivals. Adnan Khan won Best Actor at the NexGn International Short Film Festival 2021 for his role.
