Adrian Harewood's Early Life and Education
Adrian Harewood grew up in Ottawa, Canada. He went to Ashbury College, a private school in Rockcliffe. He was even the headboy there, which is a big leadership role.
He started his media journey early. He volunteered at local radio stations like CKCU-FM and CHUO-FM.
Later, he moved to Montreal. He studied political science at McGill University. While at university, he became a programmer and station manager for CKUT-FM. At CKUT, he hosted a weekly radio show called Soul Perspective. This show talked about important issues for Black Canadian people.
