Adwoa Caitlin Maria Aboah (born 18 May 1992) is a famous British fashion model and actress. She has appeared on the cover of many well-known magazines. These include British Vogue and American Vogue. Adwoa Aboah was born in Westminster, London, England. Her parents are Charles Aboah and Camilla Lowther. Her first name, Adwoa, means "born on Monday" in the Akan language. This is a language spoken by people in Ghana, West Africa. Adwoa was indeed born on a Monday!
Adwoa's mother's family, the Lowthers, are part of the British nobility. This means they have a long history and important titles in Britain. Her great-grandfather was Anthony Lowther, Viscount Lowther. Her granduncle was James Lowther, 7th Earl of Lonsdale. Adwoa's father grew up in Ghana before moving to England. Through him, she is related to a Ghanaian politician named William Kwasi Aboah.
Both of Adwoa's parents work in the fashion world. Her father finds places for photo shoots, and her mother helps photographers. Adwoa's sister, Kesewa Aboah, is also a model. Adwoa went to Millfield school. Later, she studied at Brunel University and finished in 2013. She earned a degree in Modern Drama.

Besides modeling, Adwoa has acted in short films and music videos. In 2017, she got her first role in a Hollywood movie. She played the character Lia in the film Ghost in the Shell. This movie was based on a Japanese comic book.
Adwoa started Gurls Talk in 2017. She wanted to create a place for young women to talk about mental health. She felt there were not enough resources for them. During the COVID-19 pandemic, Adwoa started '#CreativeTogether'. This project encouraged people to be creative. She hoped it would help people feel connected and less worried during lockdown.
