Embotelladora Don Jorge S.A.C. is a company from Lima, Peru. They make, sell, and deliver many different drinks, both with and without alcohol. Their main office is in the San Miguel area of Lima.
Company History
In 1947, a successful businessman named José Panizo Vargas started something new. He got permission to bottle Coca-Cola drinks in the Ica region of Peru. For 26 years, his son, Jorge Panizo Mariategui, managed the business. During this time, Coca-Cola was the most popular drink in that area.
In 1973, the government in Peru thought about stopping Coca-Cola from being sold. Because of this, Jorge Panizo Mariategui talked with Don Isaac Lindley. They agreed that Don Jorge could bottle and sell Inca Kola in the Ica region. For the next 27 years, Inca Kola became the top drink there, just like Coca-Cola had been.
In 2000, The Coca-Cola Company took over Inca Kola. Coca-Cola then talked with its bottling partners, including Embotelladora Don Jorge. However, Don Jorge didn't agree with the new rules Coca-Cola wanted to set. With 53 years of experience, Jorge Panizo Mariategui decided to do something different. He chose to create and sell their own drink brands from their factory in Ica. This way, they could serve the large market in Peru.
In 2002, Embotelladora Don Jorge S.A.C. started working in Lima. They invested a lot of money in new buildings, machines, and other important things. Today, they make popular drinks like Perú Cola and Isaac Kola. In 2003, the company decided to make their soft drinks even better. They started adding healthy fiber to them, making them more nutritious.
Our Products
Embotelladora Don Jorge S.A.C. makes many different kinds of drinks. These include fizzy drinks, still drinks, and bottled water.
Fizzy Drinks
These are drinks with bubbles, also known as carbonated beverages.
- Isaac Kola: This is a fizzy drink made to compete with Inca Kola. You can find it in 500 ml glass bottles. It also comes in plastic (PET) bottles in sizes like 500 ml, 1.5 litres, 2.2 litres, and 3.3 litres. It's often sold with its sister brand, Perú Cola.
- Perú Cola: This is another fizzy drink that comes in four different flavors. The original cola flavor competes with Coca-Cola and Kola Real. Other flavors include Fresa (strawberry), Lima-Limón (lemon-lime), and Naranja (orange). These are sold in 500 ml glass bottles (cola, strawberry, and lemon-lime). You can also get them in plastic (PET) bottles in 500 ml, 1.5 litres, 2.2 litres, and 3.3 litres.
Still Drinks
These drinks do not have bubbles or fizz.
- Chicha Morada: This is a non-fizzy drink with the flavor of chicha morada. This is a popular South American drink made from purple corn. It comes in 500 ml plastic (PET) bottles.
- Click: This is a citrus fruit punch drink. It is sold in 500 ml and 2 litre plastic (PET) bottles.
Bottled Water
- Agua Vida Con Gas: This is sparkling mineral water. It comes in plastic (PET) bottles in sizes like 300 ml, 625 ml, 2.5 litres, and 5 litres.
- Agua Vida Sin Gas: This is still (non-sparkling) mineral water. It is sold in plastic (PET) bottles in sizes like 300 ml, 625 ml, 2.5 litres, 5 litres, and large 22 litre containers.
- Agua Metro: This is mineral water made for the Metro supermarket chain. It comes in both sparkling and still versions. You can find it in plastic (PET) bottles in 625 ml, 2.5 litres, and 20 litre containers.
- Agua Wong: This is mineral water made for the Wong supermarket chain. It is available as both sparkling and still water. It comes in plastic (PET) bottles in 625 ml, 2.5 litres, and 20 litre containers.
