Aguas Dulces is a lovely resort town located in the Rocha Department of southeastern Uruguay. It's a popular spot for people who want to enjoy the beautiful Atlantic Ocean coast.
Where is Aguas Dulces?
Aguas Dulces is found right on the coast of the Atlantic Ocean. It's at the eastern end of a road called Route 10. You can also find it at the southern end of Route 16.
This resort is about 11 kilometers (about 7 miles) southeast of a town called Castillos. It sits between two large lagoons, which are like big lakes: Laguna de Castillos and Laguna Negra. If you were to travel from Montevideo, the capital city, it's about 288 kilometers (179 miles) away.
