Agustín Antolínez (born December 6, 1554 – died June 19, 1626) was an important leader in the Catholic Church. He was a member of the Augustinian Order, a group of priests. He served as the Archbishop of Santiago de Compostela from 1624 to 1626. Before that, he was the Bishop of Ciudad Rodrigo from 1623 to 1624.

Early Life and Becoming a Priest
Agustín Antolínez was born in a city called Valladolid in Spain. He decided to become a priest and joined the Order of Saint Augustine. This is a religious order where members dedicate their lives to serving God and the Church.
Becoming a Bishop
- On May 10, 1623, during the time of Pope Gregory XV, Agustín Antolínez was chosen to be the Bishop of Ciudad Rodrigo. A bishop is a high-ranking leader in the Catholic Church, in charge of a specific area called a diocese.
- A few months later, on August 24, 1623, he was officially made a bishop. This special ceremony is called a "consecration."
- Luis Fernández de Córdoba, who was the Archbishop of Santiago de Compostela at the time, led the ceremony. Two other bishops, Juan Bravo Lagunas and Antonio de Gouvea, also helped.
Serving as Archbishop
- On July 1, 1624, Agustín Antolínez was given an even bigger role. During the time of Pope Urban VIII, he was appointed the Archbishop of Santiago de Compostela.
- An archbishop is a bishop who leads a larger area called an archdiocese, which often includes several dioceses.
- He continued to serve as the Archbishop of Santiago de Compostela until he passed away on June 19, 1626.
