Starting His Career
Agustín started playing football at a young age. From 1959 to 1962, he was part of the youth team at Racing Club. This is where he learned many of the skills that made him a great player.
Playing for Top Clubs

- Racing Club: He played for Racing Club from 1962 to 1969. He returned to the club later, from 1977 to 1980. He played a total of 313 games for Racing Club, which is a club record!
- Santos FC: From 1970 to 1975, Agustín played for Santos in Brazil. This was a very famous team, and he played alongside the legendary player Pelé.
- Other Clubs: He also played for Huracán (1975) and Grêmio (1975-1976). Towards the end of his career, he played for River Plate in 1981.
