Ahmaad Rorie, born on January 1, 1996, is an American basketball player. He plays for a team called Basketball Löwen Braunschweig in Germany's top basketball league, the Basketball Bundesliga.
Ahmaad grew up in Tacoma, Washington. He played basketball in high school at Clover Park and Lincoln High School. After playing college basketball for Oregon and Montana, he hoped to join the NBA in 2019. However, he was not chosen in the NBA draft that year.

High School Basketball Career
Ahmaad started playing high school basketball at Clover Park High School in Lakewood, Washington. After his first year, he moved to Lincoln High School in Tacoma, Washington. Experts at ESPN said he was the third-best high school player in Washington state.
College Basketball Journey
Ahmaad began his college basketball career at the University of Oregon. After one season, he moved to the University of Montana. He wanted to get more playing time there.
During his time with the Montana Grizzlies, Ahmaad was recognized for his great skills. He was named to the First-team All-Big Sky twice. He also made the Second-team All-Big Sky once. In his final year, he was named the Most Valuable Player (MVP) of the Big Sky tournament. On average, he scored 14.9 points, grabbed 4 rebounds, and made 4 assists per game. Ahmaad finished his college career with 1,654 points, which is the sixth-highest in Montana's history.
Professional Basketball Career
After the 2019 NBA draft, Ahmaad Rorie was not picked by an NBA team. So, he joined Keravnos, a team in the Cypriot League. The basketball season in Cyprus ended early because of COVID-19. During his first year with Keravnos, he averaged 13.6 points, 5 rebounds, and 3.8 assists per game. In May 2020, it was announced that he would play for Keravnos for another season.
On July 23, 2021, Ahmaad signed with Élan Chalon in France. He averaged 7.4 points, 3.3 rebounds, and 3.0 assists per game there. On December 15, 2021, he signed with Egis Körmend in Hungary. Ahmaad then signed with BC Balkan Botevgrad in Bulgaria on January 26, 2022. In July 2022, he signed a contract with Mega Basket.
