Ahmet Çakar was born in Istanbul, Turkey, on August 3, 1962. He finished high school at Istanbul Erkek Lisesi in 1980. After that, he studied medicine and graduated from Istanbul University.
He is known for his lively and sometimes funny way of talking about sports. He used to host the sports show Altıpas on Show TV. People often call him "Turkey's most talked-about football expert." He also writes sports articles for the Sabah newspaper. Today, he works as a commentator on the Turkish football TV show Beyaz Futbol on Beyaz TV.
