Aimeé Teegarden, born on October 10, 1989, is an American actress, model, and producer. She is well-known for playing Julie Taylor in the TV show Friday Night Lights. She also starred as Emery Whitehill in the science fiction show Star-Crossed.

Aimeé Teegarden grew up in Downey, California, near Los Angeles. She finished high school early, at age sixteen, by studying on her own.
Career Highlights
Aimeé Teegarden started her career as a model. She worked for popular brands like Hollister and Old Navy. She also appeared in several TV shows. These included Cold Case, Ned's Declassified School Survival Guide, and Disney Channel's Hannah Montana.
From 2006 to 2011, Aimeé starred in the NBC drama Friday Night Lights. She played Julie Taylor, the daughter of a high school football coach. The show was very popular and ran for five seasons.
In 2007, Aimeé was part of the Miss Teen USA 2007 pageant. She asked a question that became famous because of the contestant's answer.
Aimeé also made guest appearances in other TV shows. In 2009, she was in three episodes of The CW's 90210. She also appeared in Legend of the Seeker, CSI: Miami, and CSI: Crime Scene Investigation.
In 2010, Aimeé was cast in the web series Aim High. This show was special because it was one of the first "social series" made for Facebook. It later moved to Crackle for its second season.
Aimeé starred in the horror film Scream 4 in 2011. She played Jenny Randall in the movie's opening scene. That same year, she played the main role of Nova Prescott in the Disney film Prom. Nova was a high school senior trying to plan her prom.
For her work on Friday Night Lights, Aimeé was named "TV Actress of the Year" in 2011. This award came from the Young Hollywood Awards. She also joined the cast of the war drama Love and Honor and the film Beneath the Darkness.
In 2014, Aimeé starred in The CW's science fiction show Star-Crossed. She played Emery Whitehill in this romantic drama. Later, in 2017, she appeared in the horror film Rings.
Personal Life
Aimeé Teegarden was a member of Job's Daughters International, a group for young women. She also supports Oceana, an organization that works to protect the world's oceans.
