Aimeé Richelle Teegarden (born October 10, 1989) is an American actress. She is best known for playing Julie Taylor in the NBC drama Friday Night Lights from 2006 to 2011. Later, in 2014, Teegarden starred as Emery Whitehill in The CW's science fiction show Star-Crossed.

Early Life and Education
Aimeé Teegarden grew up in Downey, California, which is a town near Los Angeles. She finished high school early, at age sixteen, by studying on her own.
Her Acting Journey
Aimeé Teegarden started her career by modeling for popular brands like Hollister and Old Navy. She also appeared in several TV shows. These included Cold Case, Ned's Declassified School Survival Guide, and even Disney Channel's Hannah Montana.
Her biggest role came when she joined the cast of Friday Night Lights. In this show, she played Julie Taylor. Julie was the older daughter of a high school football coach, Eric Taylor, and a school counselor, Tami Taylor. The show was very popular and ran for five seasons, from 2006 to 2011.
In 2009, Aimeé also appeared in three episodes of The CW's show 90210. She played a character named Rhonda. She also had guest roles in other crime shows like CSI: Miami and CSI: Crime Scene Investigation.
In 2010, she starred in a web series called Aim High. This show was special because it was one of the first "social series" created using Facebook. It first came out in 2011 and had a second season in 2013.
Movies and Other Projects
In 2011, Aimeé Teegarden was in the horror movie Scream 4. She played a character named Jenny Randall. That same year, she starred in the Disney movie Prom. In Prom, she played Nova Prescott, a high school senior who is trying to organize the school dance. She also deals with friendships and falling in love.
For her work on Friday Night Lights, Aimeé was named "TV Actress of the Year" in May 2011 by the Young Hollywood Awards. She also acted in the war drama Love and Honor and the movie Beneath the Darkness.
In 2014, Aimeé Teegarden played the main role of Emery Whitehill in the science fiction show Star-Crossed. The show was about aliens and humans. In 2017, she was in the horror film Rings.

Aimeé Teegarden was a member of Job's Daughters International, which is a group for young women. She also supports Oceana, an organization that works to protect the ocean.
