The Airline Improvement District has parks where people can relax and play. Harris County Precinct One manages Dow #2 Park. This park was named after C. Milby Dow, who donated the land in 1958. Dow #2 Park has four baseball fields, an office, and restrooms. Arlene Nichols Memorial Park also serves the area, offering more green space for the community.

The Airline area is known for its lively events. In 2009, about 40,000 people visited the flea markets along Airline Drive every weekend. These markets are popular places where people can find all sorts of interesting items.
