Aishwarya Lekshmi (born on September 6, 1991) is a talented Indian actress and producer. She mainly works in films made in Malayalam, Telugu, and Tamil languages. Aishwarya has won several important awards for her acting. These include a Filmfare Award South, a Kerala Film Critics Association Award, and three SIIMA Awards.
Aishwarya Lekshmi started her acting journey in 2017. Her first Malayalam film was Njandukalude Nattil Oridavela. For this role, she won the Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut – South. She later became very popular for her roles in movies like Mayaanadhi (2017) and Varathan (2018). Her film Ponniyin Selvan: I (2022) became her biggest hit. She also received praise for Ammu (2022), Kumari (2022), Gatta Kusthi (2022), and Ponniyin Selvan: II (2023).

Aishwarya's Early Life and Start
Aishwarya Lekshmi was born in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, on September 6, 1991. She went to school at Holy Angel's Convent in Thiruvananthapuram. She also studied at Sacred Heart Convent Girls Higher Secondary School in Thrissur.
Before becoming an actress, Aishwarya studied medicine. She earned her MBBS degree (Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery) in 2017. She completed her medical studies at Sree Narayana Institute of Medical Sciences in Ernakulam. She also did her internship there.
Aishwarya started modelling in 2014. She appeared on the covers of popular magazines like Flower World and Vanitha. She also modelled for many well-known brands. These included Chemmanur Jewellers and Karikkineth Silks.

How Aishwarya Started Acting (2017-2021)
Aishwarya Lekshmi has said that she never planned to become an actress. However, she auditioned for the 2017 film Njandukalude Nattil Oridavela. She got a main role in the movie, which starred Nivin Pauly.
After her first film, she played an aspiring actress in the romantic thriller Mayaanadhi. She acted alongside Tovino Thomas in this film. Mayaanadhi became a very successful movie. In 2018, she appeared in Varathan with Fahadh Faasil. This film was also a big hit at the box office.
In 2019, Aishwarya starred in three Malayalam films. These included Vijay Superum Pournamiyum and Brother's Day. That same year, she made her debut in Tamil films. Her first Tamil movie was Action, where she acted with Vishal. In 2021, she was seen in the Tamil film Jagame Thandhiram with Dhanush. She also had two Malayalam releases, Laughing Budha and Kaanekkaane.
Her Recent Films and Success (2022-Present)
The year 2022 was very important for Aishwarya's career. She had nine film releases that year. Some of her successful films were Gargi, Ponniyin Selvan: I, and Gatta Kusthi. She also co-produced Gargi.
Aishwarya made her Telugu film debut in Godse. She also acted in Captain and Archana 31 Not Out. In Ponniyin Selvan: I, she played the character of Poonguzhali. This film became one of the highest-grossing Tamil films ever. She also received praise for her roles in Ammu and Kumari. Her last film in 2022 was Gatta Kusthi, where she played a wrestler.
