Aisling Franciosi (born June 6, 1993) is an actress from Ireland. She is known for her amazing acting in movies and TV shows.
Aisling won an AACTA Award for her main role in the movie The Nightingale (2018). On television, she is famous for her parts in the crime drama The Fall (2013–2016) and the miniseries Black Narcissus (2020). She also appeared in the second season of the series Legends (2015).

Aisling Franciosi was born in Dublin, Ireland, on June 6, 1993. Her mother is Irish, and her father is Italian. She has two older brothers and a younger sister. Aisling went to Trinity College Dublin for her studies.
Aisling Franciosi's Acting Career
Aisling started her acting journey in 2012. From 2013 to 2016, she played Katie Benedetto in the TV show The Fall. This was a crime drama series shown on RTÉ and BBC Two.
First Movie Roles
In 2014, Aisling made her first movie appearance in Jimmy's Hall. The next year, she had a big role as Kate Crawford in the second season of the TNT series Legends.

In 2016, Aisling joined the popular HBO series Game of Thrones. She played Lyanna Stark in the sixth and seventh seasons.
She then got the main role of Clare Carroll in The Nightingale. This movie was a drama set in Tasmania in 2018. It was directed by Jennifer Kent. Aisling received many good reviews and awards for her work in The Nightingale, including an AACTA.
She also had important roles in other TV shows. She was Georgia Cunningham in the BBC thriller Clique. She also played Fernande Olivier in the Picasso series by National Geographic.

In 2020, Aisling played Sister Ruth in the miniseries Black Narcissus. She acted alongside Gemma Arterton in this show.
