Ajeé Wilson (born May 8, 1994) is an American runner. She is known for her amazing speed in middle-distance races, especially the 800 meters.
Ajeé is the 2022 World indoor champion in the 800 meters. She also won silver medals in 2016 and 2018. She earned bronze medals at the 2017 and 2019 World Athletics Championships.
She is the second-fastest American woman ever in the 800 meters. Her best time is 1 minute, 55.61 seconds. She also holds the North American indoor record for this event.
Ajeé won big titles early in her career. She won the 800 meters at the 2011 World Youth Championships. She also won at the 2012 World Junior Championships. Her winning time at the junior championships was one of the fastest ever for a high school runner.

What did Ajeé achieve in 2014?
Ajeé won her second U.S. Senior Indoor 800-meter title. This happened at the 2014 USA Indoor Track and Field Championships in New Mexico. Her winning time was 2:00.43.
She also won her first U.S. Senior Outdoor 800-meter title. This was at the 2014 USA Outdoor Track and Field Championships in California. She ran it in 1:58.70.
On July 18, Ajeé ran a world-leading time of 1:57.67. She won the Diamond League event in Monaco.
