Ajen Yohl Mat was a powerful ruler, known as an ajaw (king), of the ancient Maya city of Palenque. He is also called Aj Neʼ Ohl Mat, Ac Kan, and Ahl Lawal Mat. He became king on January 1, 605, and ruled until his death on August 8, 612.
Ajen Yohl Mat was likely the son of either Yohl Ikʼnal or Sak Kʼukʼ. He might have been the brother of Janahb Pakal or Kʼinich Janaab Pakal I. During his time as ruler, Palenque faced a major challenge.
