Akihiro Hyodo (兵働 昭弘, Hyōdō Akihiro, born 12 May 1982) is a former Japanese professional footballer. He played as a Midfielder for many different teams during his career.

Akihiro Hyodo's Football Journey
Starting His Career
Akihiro Hyodo loved football from a young age. After finishing high school, he went to the University of Tsukuba. There, he continued to play football for his university team.
In 2005, after graduating from university, Akihiro Hyodo began his professional football career. He joined a team called Shimizu S-Pulse. In August of that same year, he scored his very first goal as a professional player. This goal was against a team called Omiya Ardija.
Playing for Different Teams
Akihiro Hyodo played for several teams throughout his career. After his time with Shimizu S-Pulse, he joined Kashiwa Reysol in 2011. With Kashiwa Reysol, he helped the team win the J1 League title in 2011, which is a big achievement in Japanese football.
Later, he played for JEF United Chiba from 2012 to 2014. He then moved to Oita Trinita in 2015 and Mito HollyHock in 2016. In 2017, he played for Ventforet Kofu. He returned to his first professional team, Shimizu S-Pulse, for his final season in 2018.
Life After Football
Akihiro Hyodo decided to retire from playing football at the end of the 2018 season. However, he didn't leave the world of football entirely. In June 2019, he rejoined Shimizu S-Pulse, but this time as a scout. A scout's job is to find new talented players for the team.
