Al-Masih ad-Dajjal facts for kids
Al-Masih ad-Dajjal (in Arabic, المسيح الدجّال, meaning "the false messiah" or "the deceiver") is an important evil figure in Islamic beliefs about the end of the world. He is expected to appear before Yawm al-Qiyamah (the Day of Resurrection or Judgment Day). According to Islamic belief, he will pretend to be the true Messiah.
At the end of days, the Dajjal is believed to gather a large army of people he has tricked. This army will then face the true Messiah and his followers. The Dajjal is not directly mentioned in the Qur'an. This might be because he is considered a human figure and his appearance is a future event.
