Allen Cliffton White, born on May 17, 1942, is an American actor. He is known for playing many different characters in movies and TV shows. You might recognize him from funny movies like Airplane! and Airplane II: The Sequel. He also appeared in Back to the Future Part II. Throughout his career, Al White has often played police detectives.

Al White's Acting Journey
Al White grew up in San Francisco, California. Before becoming an actor, he worked as a janitor for eight years. He then decided to follow his dream of acting.
Becoming a Star
Al White is famous for his role in the comedy movie Airplane!. He played a man who spoke in a special way that needed to be translated. He did this funny role again in the movie's sequel.
He also appeared in the popular movie Back to the Future Part II. Al White has been in many TV shows too. These include Wonder Woman, The Jeffersons, and The Incredible Hulk. More recently, he was in CSI: Miami and The King of Queens.

Al White has won several awards for his work in theater. He was part of the American Conservatory Theater company for three years. During this time, he acted in more than seventeen plays. These plays included works by famous writers like Shakespeare and Tennessee Williams.
In 1975, his theater group traveled to the Soviet Union. This trip was part of a cultural exchange program. They performed at the famous Bolshoi Theater in Moscow. They also performed in other cities like Leningrad and Riga.
