Einstein's Visit to Jerusalem

Did you know that Albert Einstein visited this area a long time ago? In 1923, he spent 12 days in Palestine, which is the historical region where Israel is today. During his visit, he gave a very important talk. This talk was the first-ever lecture at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. He spoke at the university's Mount Scopus campus.

Einstein's Support for Education

Einstein strongly believed in the importance of the Hebrew University. He also supported Zionism, which is the movement to create and support a Jewish homeland.
