Aldeire is a small town in Spain. It is located in the province of Granada. In 2016, a count of people (called a census) showed that about 639 people lived there.
Aldeire is special because it is made of two parts that are not connected. One part is called Cortijo Ramos. This area is like a small piece of Aldeire surrounded by other towns.
Generating Clean Energy in Aldeire
In the Cortijo Ramos area, there is a large solar power plant. It is called Central Termosolar Andasol. This plant uses the sun's energy to make electricity. It can produce 150 megawatts of power. That's enough electricity for many homes!
