Alessandro Favalli (born on 15 November 1992) is an Italian footballer. He plays as a defender for Carpenedolo.

Alessandro Favalli's Football Journey

Alessandro Favalli began his professional football career at Cremonese. He was part of their Under-17 team during the 2008–09 season. Alessandro made his first team debut in the 2010–11 Lega Pro Prima Divisione season.

Moving to New Teams

On 18 July 2012, Alessandro joined Cesena for a short time. This was part of a player exchange deal. Another player, Milan Đurić, went to Cremonese.

Alessandro had limited chances to play at Cesena. He also faced an injury during this period.

On 13 July 2013, Alessandro moved to Parma. This was a special kind of transfer called a "co-ownership deal." It meant two clubs shared the rights to a player. He then went to the Slovenian club ND Gorica on 1 August 2013.

In 2014, the co-ownership deal was renewed. Alessandro returned to Cremonese for the 2014–15 Lega Pro season.

Later Club Moves

On 18 August 2015, Alessandro signed with Padova. He played for them in the Lega Pro league.

Later, on 10 January 2020, he signed a contract with Serie C club Reggiana. He stayed there for about a year and a half.

On 5 October 2020, Alessandro moved to Perugia. He continued to play as a defender.

His next move was on 16 August 2021, when he joined Siena. He played for Siena until 2023.

Playing for Italy's Youth Team

Alessandro Favalli also represented his country. He played for the Italy Under-20 national team.

He played two matches in the 2011–12 Four Nations Tournament. He also played in two friendly matches for the team.

A Health Update

On 6 March 2020, Alessandro Favalli tested positive for a health condition. He was the second known football player in Italy to have this. He recovered and continued his career.
