Alessandro Favalli (born 15 November 1992) is an Italian footballer. He plays as a defender for Carpenedolo.
Playing Career
Alessandro Favalli started his football journey at Cremonese. He was part of their Under-17 youth team in the 2008–09 season. He made his first professional appearance for Cremonese in the 2010–11 Lega Pro Prima Divisione season.
In 2012, Favalli moved to Cesena for a short time. He later joined Parma in 2013. After that, he played for the Slovenian club ND Gorica.
Favalli returned to Cremonese for the 2014–15 Lega Pro season. In 2015, he signed with Padova. Later, he played for other Italian clubs like Ternana, Catanzaro, Reggiana, Perugia, and Siena.
International Matches
Favalli also played for the Italy national under-20 football team. He took part in the 2011–12 Four Nations Tournament. He also played in two friendly matches for the team.
Personal Life
In March 2020, Alessandro Favalli tested positive for COVID-19. He was the second known footballer in Italy to have the illness.
