Playing for Houston Dynamo

Dixon played his first professional game on April 2, 2011. He came into the game as a substitute in a 1–1 tie. On August 20, 2011, he scored his first goal for the Dynamo. This goal came in the last minutes of the game, giving Houston a 3–2 win.
In 2012, Dixon played in the CONCACAF Champions League, an international club competition. However, he didn't play much for the Dynamo during these years. In 2013, he scored his first goal in the U.S. Open Cup. This is a big knockout tournament for soccer teams in the U.S. He was later loaned to the Tampa Bay Rowdies. He scored one goal for them before leaving the Dynamo after the 2013 season.
