Alexandrina Cabral Barbosa (born May 5, 1986) is a famous former handballer. She was also known as Alexandrina Cabral or Alexandrina Barbosa or Shandy Barbosa. She played as a left back, which is a key attacking position in handball. Her last team was Brest Bretagne Handball.
Alexandrina was born in Portugal. However, she later played for the Spanish national team in international games. She officially retired from playing handball after the 2024 Paris Olympics.

Alexandrina Barbosa was born in Lisbon, Portugal. She is one of 11 children in her family, being the ninth born. She started playing handball in Portugal.
In 2010, she decided to move to Spain. She later became a Spanish citizen in June 2012. This allowed her to play for the Spanish national team. A fun fact about Alexandrina is that she often wore the number 86 on her jersey during games. This number is special to her because it represents the year she was born.

- Later, playing for SD Itxako, she continued to shine. She was the fifth-best goal scorer in the EHF Women's Champions League in the 2010–11 season. The next season, 2011–12, she was the fourth-best scorer.
- In April 2012, she joined a top Romanian club called CS Oltchim Râmnicu Vâlcea.
