Alfarnatejo is a small and charming town located in the sunny region of Andalusia, in southern Spain. It is part of the Málaga Province and is nestled among beautiful mountains. About 400 people call Alfarnatejo home. The people who live here are sometimes called "Tejones," and their neighbors in the nearby town of Alfarnate are known as "Palancos."

Alfarnatejo is a municipality, which is like a local government area, in the Málaga Province of Spain. It is about 50 kilometers (around 31 miles) away from the big city of Málaga. This makes it a quiet place, but still close enough to a larger city.
Exploring Alfarnatejo's Surroundings
The town is found in a mountainous area called Axarquía - Costa del Sol. To the northwest, you can see the Sierra del Jobo mountains. To the east, there are the Sierra de Alhama mountains. These mountain ranges make the area very scenic and a great place for nature lovers.
