His Early Work as a Missionary

The Sindh Mission had started in 1850. Its goal was to help people, especially Muslims, after the Sindh Province became part of the British Raj in 1843. An important part of the mission's work was education. In 1852, a school was started in Karachi by Colonel Preedy, who was the first leader of the city. Later, this school was given to the CMS to help them continue their work.
